Sheldon Bailey is an author, presenter and keynote speaker who uses his various platforms to challenge the status quo and create lasting change. His consultancy practice, Verdant Advantage Solutions, was born in 2021 from the recognition that the people-side of organizational operations is rapidly changing. His passion for that aspect of professional practice drove him to begin offering structured human-centered solutions to businesses and corporations.
To date, he has had the opportunity to work with several entities within the educational and healthcare landscapes, driving change that has helped those organizations thrive in new ways and maintain their relevance to society.
With more than two decades as an allied health professional and nearly 10 years as an educator, Sheldon holds multiple professional credentials, including a Master of Education degree and an Educational Doctorate.
An author, international literary contributor, presenter, and keynote speaker, Sheldon is known for his insightful, relatable, and inspirational persona.
Over the course of his career, Sheldon has successfully led numerous seminars and workshops across Canada, and has developed and implemented multiple training programs that continue to have wide-spread impact.
A Caribbean native who emigrated to Canada in his adult years, Sheldon’s life and professional experience places him in a rare position where he is able to offer value with organizations across multiple sectors. As Founder of the Verdant Advantage Group, Sheldon is wholly committed to the idea that individual growth never stops, and that guided collective growth will always pay dividends to an organization.
When not focused on his professional calling, Sheldon enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, or getting lost in his favorite music. His absolute best day though, is when all three of those things intersect.
